A Colorado vended laundry featuring Speed Queen's groundbreaking
Quantum Gold control is the cover story of the June issue of The
Journal.
The Washouse, a 2,000 sq. ft. store in Fort Collins, Colo., taps
into the full potential of a networked Quantum Gold system. It
offers customer-centric features such as 140 G-force extraction for
reduced drying time and allows customers to check the availability
of washers and dryers by posting its Wash Alert system on its Web
site.
In the Journal article, Greg Fuhrman details how he and his
wife, Joy, hatched the idea for the Washouse on a trip around the
world. The store is gaining popularity with the college crowd by
drawing a solid customer base from nearby Colorado State
University.
