• Do not tumble fiberglass curtains and draperies unless the label says it can be done. If they are dried, wipe out the cylinder with a damp cloth to remove particles of fiberglass.

Remove the tumble dryer from use and call for service.
• Tumble dryer(s) will not operate with lint panel open. DO NOT bypass lint panel safety switch to permit the tumble dryer to operate with the lint panel open.

• Solvent vapors from dry-cleaning machines create acids when drawn through the heater of the drying unit. These acids are corrosive to the tumble dryer as well as the laundry load being dried. Be sure make-up air is free of solvent vapors.
• At the end of each working day, close off all main supplies of gas, steam and current.

• Always read and follow manufacturer's instructions on packages of laundry and cleaning aids. Heed all warnings or precautions. To reduce the risk of poisoning or chemical burns, keep them out of reach of children at all times (preferably in a locked cabinet).
• Remove laundry immediately after the dryer stops.
• DO NOT operate the dryer if it is smoking, grinding or has missing or broken parts or removed guards and/or panels. DO NOT tamper with the controls or bypass any safety devices.
• DO NOT operate individual units if they have been separated from a stack unit.
• Dryer will not operate with the loading door open. DO NOT bypass the door safety switch by permitting the dryer to operate with the door open. The dryer will stop tumbling when the door is opened. Do not use the dryer if it does not stop tumbling when the door is opened or starts tumbling without pressing the START mechanism. Remove the dryer from use and call the service person.
• ALWAYS clean the lint filter after every load. A layer of lint in the filter reduces drying efficiency and prolongs drying time. Keep area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding area free from the accumulation of lint, dust and dirt. The interior of the dryer and the exhaust duct should be cleaned periodically by qualified service personnel.
• Do not repair or replace any part of the dryer, or attempt any servicing unless specifically recommended in the user-maintenance instructions or in published user-repair instructions that you understand and have the skills to carry out. ALWAYS disconnect the electrical power to the dryer before attempting service. Disconnect the power cord by grasping the plug, not the cord.
• If supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
• Before the dryer is removed from service or discarded, remove the door to the drying compartment.
• Failure to install, maintain, and/or operate this machine according to the manufacturer's instructions may result in conditions which can produce bodily injury and/or property damage.

• Do not iron(finish) articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline, dry cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances as they give off vapors that could ignite or explode.
• Do not allow children to play on or around the finisher. Close supervision of children is necessary when the finisher is used near children. This is a safety rule for all appliances.
• Check the operation of the safety finger guard at the beginning of every shift. Operating the safety guard should stop the finisher immediately. Do not operate the finisher until the safety finger guard is repaired and working properly. Be sure that all other safety features, including guards and panels, are in place before operating the finisher.
• Never try to remove, adjust, or straighten jammed or misfed linen while the finisher is running. Attempting to clear the jammed linen item can result in the user being caught in the linen and pulled into the finisher. If something is jammed in the finisher, turn off the power before attempting to correct the problem. Avoid contact with heated parts.
• Protect yourself and fellow workers by making sure that everyone follows all the rules. Read and follow all safety labels and warnings. Learn all aspects of the equipment. Do not come close to moving or heated parts. Do not wear loose clothing, sweaters, jewelry, or neck ties when near the finisher.
• To reduce the risk of fire, DO NOT iron(finish) plastics or articles containing foam rubber or similarly textured rubber-like materials.
• Do not put articles soiled with vegetable or cooking oil in the finisher, as these oils may not be removed during washing. Due to the remaining oil, the fabric may catch on fire by itself.
• To reduce the risk of fire, DO NOT put articles which have traces of any flammable substances such as machine oil, flammable chemicals, thinner, etc. or anything containing wax or chemicals such as in mops and cleaning cloths, or anything dry-cleaned at home with dry-cleaning solvent in the finisher.

• Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot water system that has not been used for two weeks or more. HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot water system has not been used for such a period, before using a washing machine or combination washer-dryer, turn on all hot water faucets and let the water flow from each for several minutes. This will release any accumulated hydrogen gas. The gas is flammable, do not smoke or use an open flame during this time.

• Use only low-sudsing, no-foaming types of commercial detergent. Be aware that hazardous chemicals may be present. Wear hand and eye protection when adding detergents and chemicals. Always read and follow manufacturer's instructions on packages of laundry and cleaning aids. Heed all warnings or precautions. • Do not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommended by the manufacturer of the fabric softener or product.
• Always follow the fabric care instructions supplied by the textile manufacturer.
• Loading door MUST BE CLOSED any time the washer is to fill, tumble or spin. DO NOT bypass the loading door switch by permitting the washer to operate with the loading door open. Do not attempt to open the door until the washer has drained and all moving parts have stopped.
• Be aware that hot water is used to flush the supply dispenser. Avoid opening the dispenser lid while the machine is running.
• Do not attach anything to the supply dispenser's nozzles, if applicable. The air gap must be maintained.
• Do not operate the machine without the water reuse plug or water reuse system in place, if applicable.
• Be sure water connections have a shut-off valve and that fill hose connections are tight. CLOSE the shut-off valves at the end of each wash day.
